Fall migration – non-breeding plumage and juveniles – those little warblers are even harder to identify right? Join us at the Chicago lakefront on a guided walk with Josh Engel through Jarvis Bird Sanctuary. Coffee and scones provided for a no-fail combination during a full morning of birding heaven.
We will meet in the Waverly parking lot, 3600 N Recreation Drive, Chicago, and walk to the sanctuary together. Please arrive and be ready-to-bird by 6:30 a.m. We will start our morning on the observation platform overlooking the sanctuary while enjoying coffee and scones. Bathrooms will be available.
Afterwards we will wander the area near and around the sanctuary, eventually arriving back at our cars. Time permitting, we may move to another location before ending out trip. Rain or shine so please dress for the weather.
